Introduction to Subway Shield Segment Adhesive
Subway shield segment adhesive is a single-component adhesive. The adhesive features fast curing, strong bonding, easy brushing, convenient construction, and good waterproof properties. It is mainly used for bonding EPDM sealing pads and nitrile cork rubber plates of subway shield segments. This adhesive can effectively bond a variety of materials such as rubber, metal, and cement.
Precautions
This product contains organic solvents and must be transported according to the relevant regulations for hazardous chemicals. When using, be sure to wear a mask and gloves. If it accidentally comes into contact with the eyes, mouth, nose, etc., rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention. If the chloroprene phenolic resin adhesive comes into contact with water, stop using it immediately to avoid affecting the bonding effect and waterproof performance.
How to Use Shield Segment Adhesive
1. Pre-treat the surface of the materials to be bonded, removing oil stains, moisture, and other impurities from the bonding surface.
2. Use a special scraper and brush to evenly apply the adhesive to the surface of the materials to be bonded.
3. Allow to stand for 10-30 minutes until the solvent evaporates, the adhesive film is dry to the touch, and then apply appropriate pressure. Allow to set until it reaches its working strength.
